Paint Your Pet
Together with Forgotten Star Brew Co. we will be hosting a Paint Your Pet Project FUNdraiser to support My Pit Bull is Family.
My Pit Bull is Family is a 501c-3 non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a mission to keep families together by advancing dog-inclusive rental & insurance policies and providing essential pet retention programming.
Our team focuses on having conversations with property management companies, conducting pet policy research studies, building relationships in the community, and providing resources to keep families together.
Additionally in 2019, we launched our North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center to support our local community. Our team of volunteer advocates assist pet loving community members with supplies and resources to help keep pets and their families together – at home.
$10 from every ticket sold is donated directly to My Pit Bull is Family to contribute to their mission. Let's help them raise money and paint YOUR pet.

What to Expect from Paint Your Pet Project
Create a tribute to your furry friends while enjoying a drink with your human pals!
Anyone can do a Paint Your Pet Project, regardless of art experience. A professional artist walks you through color mixing and painting techniques to get your pet’s fur and features just right. There’s no guesswork and no pressure.
Paint your dog, chicken, iguana, or pig – we don’t discriminate. At the end of the event, you’ll have a frame-worthy keepsake. This event is a must for every pet lover!
STEP 1: SEND IN A PHOTO
ONE PET PER PAINTING, PLEASE. No exceptions.
Email a high-res digital photo to YourBeardedArtist@Gmail.com. Uncropped, full-body shots with uncluttered backgrounds work best. This ensures your pet’s proportions are correct in the finished product.
STEP 2: CUSTOM CANVAS
Using your photo, a grayscale outline of your pet is printed onto a canvas. The canvas and a custom paint palette are ready when you arrive.
STEP 3: You paint the portrait, but your artist teaches you techniques including how to paint backgrounds, realistic fur, and little wet noses.
Email your pet photo to YOURBEARDEDARTIST@GMAIL.COM
